Thomas Dreamy winter synth with some very rich atmospheres. There is an underlying sadness and longing to this music which makes it even more haunting but beautiful at the same time. Favorite track: Return to the Majestic Land of Ezzenait.

Infinite Tapes Cold, haunting vibes on Wayfarer's first outing. This is much more winter synth than later releases, but considering that Eldest Gate essentially IS winter synth for me, I'm ok with that! Got a DVD case CD via Discogs (not a flip!). Favorite track: Return to the Majestic Land of Ezzenait.

Kaptain Carbon Wayfarer adds a healthy dose of melancholy and low fidelity to the process making it a surreal experience on barren peaks frozen with frost. Wayfarer also retains the black and white aesthetic of dark ambient making it a release which both looks like black metal and sounds like the crying of a thousand dead. This label also supports another artist by the name of Inoriand whose record Frozen Memories continues this labels pursuit in reaching the end of the world and the apex of cold. Favorite track: Ruins at Nightfall.
